fedi:onchain_deposits_disabled

Use this to restrict generating new bitcoin addresses to "power users".

Onchain deposits have known issues and is currently disabled by default.

The user can still override this restriction by enabling onchain deposits in developer settings

This may be deprecated in the future

warning

It is important to pay close attention to the in-app warnings for onchain deposits to prevent loss of funds.


  • You MUST NOT reuse the same address for multiple deposits.
  • You MUST NOT broadcast a transaction greater than 40 KB in size when making a deposit.
